How to Organize Your Wix Store with the Built-In Filter & Sort Features

Customer experience is everything. If a shopper has to dig through pages of products to find a specific collection or price point, they’re likely to leave. By adding a filter menu, you:

• Improve Navigation: Let customers browse by collection, price, or custom attributes [02:14].

• Professional Look: Get rid of clunky manual menus and use Wix’s sleek, integrated tool [00:13].

• Save Time: Once it's toggled on, Wix does the heavy lifting for you [03:54].

Step-by-Step: Turning on the Filter Menu

Setting this up is incredibly simple, and you don’t need to touch a single line of code.

1. Open the Wix Editor: Navigate to any page where your shop widget is installed.

2. Access Settings: Instead of clicking "Manage Products," click the Settings button on your product gallery [00:43].

3. Find the Filters Tab: In the shop settings menu, look for the Filters option [01:29].

4. Toggle it On: Simply switch the "Filter By" menu to "On." You’ll see a sidebar menu appear instantly on your storefront [01:42].

5. Customize Your Options: You can choose to let customers filter by specific collections, price ranges, or even create your own custom filters [02:44].

Don't Forget the Sort Feature!

In addition to filtering, Wix now offers a native Sort function [03:16]. This allows your customers to organize products by name, price (high to low/low to high), and more. It’s a great replacement for external search bars and keeps your shop looking clean and modern [03:33].
